I started in the travel industry in 1984 as a corporate agent in Houston Texas at a small mom and pop agency. In 1986 I went to work for Thomas Cook Travel. During my time at Thomas Cook Travel, I had several promotions and opportunities. I was the lead agent and soon supervisor for a corporate 500 company, Support Service Supervisor, Corporate Trainer, and head of the Customer Service Department. In 1992 I had my second child and stayed home until she started Kindergarten. I entered the travel industry again in 1997 as a Leisure agent specializing in cruises and becoming the Disney Expert for the office. In 2001, 9/11 changed everything. People stopped traveling so I decided to go to college and get a Bachelors degree. After college I worked as Special Ed/Deaf Ed teacher in Houston. In 2010 my family moved from Texas to NJ where I continued to work as a Special Ed teacher for Cerebral Palsy kids to children with Autism. After years and years in education I have decided to go back to my first love of travel. Where it all started many years ago.
